Silent Auction & Book Fair

Please come and support our Silent Auction and Book Fair during SEP week. During SEP’s the PTA is going to have a silent auction. Each class will be given a theme and is responsible to make up a basket fitting the theme given to them. During SEP’s each class basket will be on display. You are invited to bid on them.

Please have your children bring donated items to their classroom Wednesday, January 19th through Thursday, January 27th.

All donated items need to be new. We also welcome services from those parents that may have businesses/services to offer. (Ex. A free haircut/free oil change, make-up, candles, etc.) We will find an appropriate basket to put your donated items in, even if they may not fit the theme of your child’s class. Though the PTA will provide a simple basket or container, we welcome any creative containers to put the items in. (Example-cookie sheet for baking, tackle box for sports, cooler for outdoors, etc.)

Class themes are:

Egbert AM- Gardening (Examples: hand tools, gardening gloves, seeds, etc.)

Egbert PM-Bath & Body (Examples: Lotions, Spa gift certificate, bubble bath, etc.)

Scow AM-Couch Potato (Examples: movies, puzzles, books, massage gift certificate)

Scow PM-Cars (Examples: Hot Wheels, Car Cleaning Supplies, Car Wash gift certificate, etc.)

Whitten-Arts & Crafts (Example: children’s art supplies, craft projects, etc.)

Cox-For Mom (Example: candles, jewlery, chocolate, gift certificates, etc.)

Edwards-Sports Basket (Examples: tickets to event, basketball, golf balls, jump rope, etc.)

Lefevre-Keeping Warm (Examples: hot cocoa, mugs, gloves, outdoor wear, etc.)

Miller-Baking (Examples: Cake mixes, utensils, measuring cups, etc.)

Mills-Outdoors (Examples: Flashlight, compass, Frisbee, trail mix, water bottle, etc.)

Funds raised by the PTA help support such things as the AR program, Bear Cub Store, Field Trips, Field Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, etc. etc. Though we understand not everyone may be in a position to bid on and purchase a basket, we encourage all to participate by making a minimal contribution/donation to the class basket. We would like each completed basket to have a starting bid value of $25. This breaks down into a fairly small donation from each family. Please support us in this fundraiser.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any member of the PTA.
